Happiness is…burgers and freak shakes.



Seasons is newly opened smoothie and juice bar. It is a venture of Kovai Pazhamudhir Nilayam and if that name sounds familiar, it is fruits and vegetable supermarket.  On Valentine’s Day (read: Single Awareness Day), we had visited its store at Food Court, Vivira Mall, OMR. They had Valentine’s Day Offer ongoing where one can get a sandwich free for a freak shake.

Double Chocolate Freak Shake



 My friend (read: Valentine) and I had ordered Double Chocolate and Chocolate Nutella Freak Shake (both at INR 150 each).What I expected was two thick monstrous harmony between a drink and a dessert served in Mason jar. I was quite disappointed in seeing them arrive in plastic to-go cups. However, the texture and taste don’t fail to disappoint as it was thick, creamy and absolutely delicious. I wasn’t a big fan of the double chocolate freak shake as it was quite nutty. However, I genuinely enjoyed my Chocolate Nutella Freak Shake that was to die for with equal hints of both chocolate and Nutella.

 For sandwiches, we had chosen a Mushroom sandwich and cheese sandwich which were served piping hot. The Mushroom sandwich was delicious although it was less spicy for my liking. However, the cheese sandwich was a great compliment to my shake.

The manager at the store was very kind and patient with us having a debate on what to order. A special mention to Mr. Senthil Raj for giving us a memorable drink to remember.

Cafes are the best place one could probably imagine when we wish to have a good dinner with our loved ones. Ooty is a popular tourist spot of Nilgiris. Despite being a part of South India, Ooty offers a sub-tropical climate which makes it perfect for cultivation of carrots, tea and cabbage.
