Superstar Pizza - A tribute to THALAIVA

A whole restaurant dedicated to our  Superstar. Our Thailavar. That’s what this restaurant is all about.
The place is honestly quite interesting and the theme of the restaurant includes photos and music playlists of Superstar.
Get your smart phone full charged as you will be end up clicking tons of photographs here, just like how we did. No kidding.The classic pizzas are named after his films and his dialogues.
Even the menu is like his movies. Ta da.
The menu reads 6 scenes as follows:
Scene 1:Side Role Intro ie Starters
The starters are great here. The menu for starters includes cheese potato balls, chicken sausage, French fries, Tex Mex nachos and garlic bread.
Scene 2:Thalaivar Entry – Action Scene ie Spicy Pizzas 1” thin crust
Actions movies such as Moondru Mugam,Annamalai,Kochadaiyan,Kabali,Chandramuki and Sigapu Manithan, have found themselves here as pizzas. Similary his legendary dialogue such as Neruppa da(translates to 'I'm Fire') is also a pizza here with spicy chilli chicken,onion,tomota,capcisum and garlic.
We had indulged in Annamalai(dairy special pizza dressed with tandoori panner,jalapones, onions and grilled tomoto) and Baasha(pizza with toppings that include mint sauce, chicken sheeksh kabab,onion and fresh coarinder).

Scene 3: Comedy -9” thin crust
Here, the pizzas are named with Rajini’s comedy genre movies namely Thillu Mullu(my favorite Rajini movie) and Muthu.
Scene 4: Romance
Nallavanku Nallavan.
Illamai Oonjal Adukiranthu.
Ninathaley Inikum.
Mullum Malarum.
Laka Laka Laka.
You guessed it right. Some of Rajini's movies and one-liners that have won millions of romantic hearts and continue to swoon even today. These movie titles and dialogues are pizzas each with its own punching flavors - just like Rajini.
Scene 5 : Guest roles aka Pasta & Sandwiches
A entire movie can't focus on Rajini alone although if that were to happen, that would be pretty epic. Similarly, a single pizza may or may not fill your tiny little stomach. Try out these guest characters aka Pasta - from Penne Arabiatta to Pesto & Alfredo and Sandwiches- from classic Veg. to Tandoori Chicken.

Scene 6 : Climax- Deserts & Beverages.
End your meal with a band just like Rajini's movies.Choose from different Mocktails that include Lemon Iced Tea, Lemon Mint Soda and Masala Coke or pick a shake to your heart's desire such as V4 Vanilla,Superstar Prasadham,Oreo Love and Black Currant.

If you happen to be a die-hard Rajini fan, this place should absolutely be on your bucket list.

Cafes are the best place one could probably imagine when we wish to have a good dinner with our loved ones.
