Ramen in Chennai.

For those who didn’t know, Ramen is a Japenese dish that comprises of Chinese-style noodles served in a flavored meat broth generally flavored with soy sauce or miso and topped with sliced pork/chicken/beef, dried seaweed and spring onions. Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning that is produced by fermenting soybeans with salt and a fungus called koji. These Ramen bowls also come with boiled egg.
It is believed that instant ramen noodles first made their humble appearance way back in 1958 in Japan and these instant ramen have now become a stable to every college student in USA thanks to its cheap pricing and ease of making. Now, they are found their way to India in a few Japanese restaurants.
Below is a photograph of Ramen bowl that my friend indulged in without me at Jonah's Bistro,Velachery. (From my friend’s recollection) The bowl was a large one with noodles, slices of chicken, and some vegetables all immersed in the miso soup topped with cabbage and half of boiled egg. He loved it.

Don't forget to try out the exclusive squid fry and sushi ( which you may be either love or hate but fair warning: there's no in-between).He hated the sushi although he was a huge fan of squid fry.
Sushi.
