Manchester's surprise

We were stunned with the plate of surprise which was served in the Manchester of India (Coimbatore). The city is best known for its scenic beauty and climatic conditions. Apart from this, one could easily find a lot of good restaurants. We spotted a famous food joint called 'Sri Annapurna' which is located in Bharathi Nagar. The place is always crowded but trust me, the wait is worth a million dollar!. They have special menu everyday and have named the dishes very uniquely.

We ordered 'Dragon Idly' from their Tuesday's specials.

The dish had around 8-9 pieces of mini idlis which were properly sauted with onions, right amount of soy sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar. It also had other spices that enhanced up the taste. This dish is the best example for the proverb - 'Good things come in small packages'. It was sweet, salty and at the same time spicy. And above all, we can enjoy the crunch of taste of deep fried cashew nuts which was used as a garnishing agent.

Cafes are the best place one could probably imagine when we wish to have a good dinner with our loved ones.
